I am the owner and founder of URA.Casting (From the Streets to the Set). I cast talent for a wide range of projects, focusing on real people and authentic, raw talent. I also work as an on-set consultant to help ensure each project feels genuine and true to its vision. Over time, I have expanded my work into management and scriptwriting as well. I specialize in building relationships within the entertainment industry and partnering with teams that value discovering and supporting new talent. I am proud of what we have accomplished in a short period of time. Our work includes casting for well-known shows such as Mayans, 9-1-1, SWAT, Goliath, and Glow; films including Peppermint and The Cleansing Hour; short films like R&R, Kilroy Movie, and Homeboy Script; along with various photoshoots and music videos. All of this work has been completed smoothly, with no issues on set and no conflicts — just professionalism and dedication.

Berenice established URA Entertainment, standing for Under Represented Artists and reflecting the non-traditional communities she aimed to help. It became better known as “From the Streets to the Set”. At first, her work was focused on background casting. But Berenice had a bigger vision: speaking roles. Speaking roles paid more and would help move talent beyond the margins of Hollywood productions. They could also lead to inclusion in the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) – most new actors’ holy grail.
